Art Exhibition May 2019
More than 150 people were welcomed to our art exhibition at Hook Village Hall over the weekend of 18th and 19th May.
We enjoyed an evening reception on Friday 17th May with wine and nibbles, when the exhibition was officially opened by our President Phil Flowerdew. Invited guests included deputy Mayor of Royal Wootton Bassett, Nick Hughes, and town crier, Owen Collier, along with art group members and their friends.
Visitors had the opportunity to view and buy more than 70 paintings in a variety of different styles and subjects, and to chat with artists at work. Numerous greetings cards were sold, as well as ten paintings!
Said our Chairman, Brian Bevis, "We all enjoyed a wonderful weekend and were delighted to welcome so many visitors from across the local area. We look forward to hosting another successful exhibition next year."
